For a nation which highly appreciated the Jaadu Ki Jhappi and Ghandigiri formulae, the third sequel is a much-anticipated film by both the masses as well as the classes. The third sequel in the Munna Bhai sequel is surely going to be a ‘hatke’ film as it will be extensively shot in the United States of America as Munna Bhai Chale Amrika with his sidekick Circuit.

The magical duo of Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will be seen again in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next Munna Bhai sequel tentatively titled “Munna Bhai Chale Amrika”, to be directed again by Rajkumar Hirani. Recently, a teaser for the film was shot by the cast and crew of the series though the script for the film is yet to be finalised.

Says actor, Sanjay Dutt, “It’s just a concept, we have to script it. But for sure we are going to America. There can be many things that can happen - during immigration, on the streets. I don’t know what Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) is going to write, but I bet it’ll be really good.” Adds director, Rajkumar Hirani, “They have an agenda, but I don’t want to reveal it. As of now they’re learning English to go to America.”

The shooting for the film will begin from October this year.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is an upcoming American adventure film that follows The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. It is slated for release on August 1, 2008 in the US. An official trailer of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released with this film.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is directed by Rob Cohen and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Bob Ducsay, Sean Daniel, Stephen Sommers and James Jacks produce the film.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor stars Brendan Fraser reprising his role as explorer Rick O'Connell, along with his son Alex (Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello, taking over the character from Rachel Weisz) and brother-in-law, Jonathan (John Hannah). The two parents are now retired, but they must stop the resurrected tyrannical Han, the Dragon Emperor (Jet Li), a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse, and whose army was found by 18-year old Alex. The Emperor now wishes to rebuild his empire, and threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service with his Terracotta Army. The undead Terracotta Army faces another, smaller, raised-from-the-dead army made of the Dragon Emperor's enemies, who were burried under the Great Wall of China. The emperor on which this fictitious account was based was Qin Shi Huang and not the first Emperor of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Gaozu of Han.

The Dark Knight is a 2008 American superhero film co-written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Based on the DC Comics character Batman, the film is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005), which rebooted the Batman film series after an eight-year hiatus. Christian Bale reprises the lead role. Batman's primary conflicts in the film include his fight against the Joker (Heath Ledger) and his strained friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart).

For his conception of the film, Nolan was inspired by the Joker's first two appearances in the comics and Batman: The Long Halloween. The Dark Knight was filmed primarily in Chicago (as was Batman Begins), as well as in several other locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. The director used an IMAX camera to film six major action sequences, including the Joker's first appearance in the film. The Batsuit was redesigned, with a cowl allowing Bale to move his head. The film also introduces a recreation of the Batcycle, known as the Batpod.

Warner Bros. created an aggressive viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight, developing promotional websites and trailers highlighting screenshots of Heath Ledger as the Joker. After Ledger's death in January 2008, however, the studio refocused its promotional campaign.^[3]^[4] The film will be released on July 16, 2008 in Australia, on July 18, 2008 in North America, and on July 25, 2008 in the United Kingdom.

Hancock Review - Will Smiths 'SUPER'hero Film...

The glut of super-hero summer movies coughed up by Hollywood continues with "Hancock". Comparisons with the likes of the already released "Iron Man" and "The Incredible Hulk" and the yet to be released "The Dark Knight" and "Hellboy" are unavoidable; though it is clear that "Hancock" falls short of all these movies.

The movie is a wasted opportunity. Will Smith, the most dependable Hollywood actor right now, with his last nine movies topping the box office, plays an unlovable superhero who goes through a transformation.

It is a very promising premise, but the writers Vincent Ngo and Vince Gilligan along with director Peter Berg seem to lose their bearings half way and allow the movie to take one of the most bizarre and wholly boring twists in any Hollywood movie this year.

Not even the talented Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron and the dependable Jason Bateman can rescue or clarify this muddle of a movie.

Smith is Hancock, the superhero with good intentions but bad PR skills and even poorer hygiene. He cannot resist helping anyone in need, but much to the annoyance of the residents of Los Angeles, he does more harm than good. His rescues end up costing the city millions of dollars in damages.

One day Hancock rescues an altruistic but failed PR man Ray who offers to refine him and make him presentable as a superhero. This takes up the first 20 minutes or so of the movie and is actually pretty entertaining. The wheels start coming off when Hancock starts taking an interest in Ray's wife and the movie proceeds to explain this attraction.

Since it is a blockbuster, the movie has the luxury of money and does a good job with the action sequences and special effects. But the true thrills in the movie are the scenes where Hancock is making efforts to be nicer and presentable.

Smith, with his wholesome reputation, asks the audience to stretch their imagination in having to believe his crass attitude early in the movie. Fortunately, those scenes are few and brief and it is not long before he goes about smashing things.

Smith cements his reputation as the most dependable action if not superstar in Hollywood right now. This movie will not have quite the shine as "Independence Day" or "I, Robot" and he displays much better acting skills in "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "I am Legend". He was able to surprise us with his acting range.

"Hancock" sadly doesn't even put up any acting challenge before him and that is another reason the movie is a wasted opportunity.

"Hancock" never forgets that it is a summer blockbuster action movie, and in many ways it delivers in the way action movie fans would expect. They will not be disappointed. For those who can put up with a digressing plot line but not at the cost of some action and special effects, "Hancock" delivers.
